Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 80 g butter or margarine, soft
  • 50 ml oil (sunflower oil)
  • 80 g sugar
  • 100 g oat flakes
  • 100 g almond flakes
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp, leveled baking powder
  • 1 tsp, leveled lemon peel, untreated, grated
  • Powdered sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

delicious with almonds, without egg

Mix softened butter or margarine, oil, and sugar thoroughly. Then stir in the oat flakes and the crushed almond flakes. Add the flour, which has been sifted with baking powder and salt, and the lemon zest. Form the dough into approximately 12-14 small cakes and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at 160°C (convection oven) for approximately 20 minutes, until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving. These oat cakes can also be served with tea.
