Chocolate Welcome Move-in Cake

The perfect chocolate welcome move-in cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Piece Eggs size L.
  • 100 ml Sunflower oil
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla flavor liquid
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 60 g Cocoa
  • 180 g Sugar
  • 200 g Flour type 00, alternatively type 550
  • 60 g Chocolate chips mixed white / dark
  • 100 g Chopped almonds
  • Icing sugar for dusting
  • Chocolate letters and other decorations as desired
  • Some jam to stick the letters on
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° circulating air. Line an approx. 22 shape (here as a heart) on the bottom with baking paper.
  2. In a bowl, beat the eggs, oil, milk, vanilla flavor and salt vigorously with the whisk by hand. Then stir in cocoa, sugar and finally the flour. When everything has joined together well and there are no lumps in the dough, fold in the chocolate chips and chopped almonds and pour the dough into the mold. Slide into the oven on the 2nd rail from below and bake for 30 – 35 minutes. Make a wooden stick test. The dough must no longer adhere when it is pulled out.
  3. After baking, let it cool down in the tin and only then remove it. Dust the cake with powdered sugar and label and decorate as desired.
  4. This juicy chocolate cake is made super fast and is therefore also very suitable for a short-term, trendy visit ……………. or if you suddenly have “cake cravings” yourself … . ;-)))
