Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 250 g honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 125 g sugar
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 baking powder
  • ½ pack of gingerbread spice
  • ½ pack of candied lemon peel (to taste, can also be omitted)
  • ½ pack of candied orange peel (to taste, can also be omitted)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 30 minutes

e.g. for St. Martin’s geese, Pollinger KiGa gingerbread recipe, proven for years

Knead everything together thoroughly. Let the dough rest overnight! Roll out to about 1/2 cm thick. Cut out beautiful shapes. Bake at 175°C until golden brown! Unfortunately, I can’t give a specific time, as every oven bakes differently. So, just go with your own gut feeling. Let it cool and decorate. Done!
