Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 150 g butter, soft
- 65 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 160 g flour
- 100 g jelly (raspberry jelly or blackcurrant jelly or apricot jam strained through a sieve)
- possibly powdered sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 40 minutes
(from grandma!)
Cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Add the egg yolks. Then add the flour and knead everything into a smooth dough. Chill for about 1 hour, wrapped in foil. Form small balls from the dough and press lightly in the center of each ball (using the end of a wooden spoon or similar tool). Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving enough space between them. Then fill the hollows with the jelly. Bake at 140°C (convection oven) until golden brown (check the temperature, approx. 10 minutes). Dust with powdered sugar, if desired. Makes about 60 cookies.
