- 250 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- ½ orange(s), grated peel
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch of clove(s), ground
- 100 g almond(s), grated
- 200 g oat flakes
- 100 g flour (wholemeal spelt)
- 50 g fresh ginger, cut into sticks or 1 tsp powder
- e.g. jam or fruit spread

Cream the butter and egg until creamy. Then add the next 10 ingredients from the list. Mix and form a dough. Let it rest in a cool place for about an hour. Then form the dough into balls about 2 cm in diameter and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Make a depression in each ball with your finger and fill it with jam or fruit spread. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 10 to 12 minutes.
