Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g oat flakes
  • 50 g cranberries, dried and roughly chopped
  • 150 g wheat flour type 550
  • 60 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

as a gift or souvenir

Layer the dry ingredients in a jar/milk bottle/attractive tumbler jar, e.g., half the flour, then the oats, the other half of the flour, then the sugar, and then the cranberries. If you want a nicer color gradation, you can also use brown sugar, but I would increase the amount by 10-20 g. After filling, attach the baking instructions directly to the jar or to a ribbon. Baking instructions: 100 g butter, the baking mix, 3 tbsp milk, 1 egg yolk. Cut the room-temperature butter into pieces and knead with the baking mix, milk, and egg yolk to form a homogeneous, smooth dough. Form into a roll approximately 4 cm in diameter, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill for at least 30 minutes. Then preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Meanwhile, cut the dough into 20 slices and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking foil or parchment paper. Baking time is approximately 10-12 minutes. The cookies should cool on a wire rack.
