Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • some salt
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 12 egg yolks
  • some arrack
  • ½ lemon(s), zest
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 tsp, leveled baking powder, (or equivalent yeast)
  • 500 ml cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Whisk the cream, sugar, and egg yolks until fluffy, then stir in the lukewarm butter, salt, lemon zest, arrack, vanilla bean pulp, and flour (mixed with baking powder). Pour the batter into a waffle iron in batches and brown to taste.
