Bear Paws, Vegan
The perfect bear paws, vegan recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 50 g Spelled flour type 630
- 170 g Food starch
- 80 g Powdered sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 30 g Cocoa powder
- 200 g Margarine, sunflower
- 2 tbsp Mineral water
- Couverture vegan
- Mix the flour, starch, powdered sugar, vanilla and cocoa. Use margarine and mineral water to form a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top / bottom heat. Dust the work surface with flour, then shape the dough into a long, flattened roll. Cut off long biscuits and press 2/3 in with a fork. Bake on a baking sheet lined with baking paper for approx. 12 minutes. Let cool down.
- Melt the couverture and dip the paws with the side that has no grooves.
