Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 75 g butter
- 75 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 125 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 jar sour cherries
- cornstarch
- 12 chocolate kisses
- 500 g quark
- 2 cups of cream
- 2 packs of cream stiffener
- Chocolate, grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Make a batter from butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla sugar, flour, and baking powder. Bake for 30 minutes at 175 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat), then let cool. Drain the sour cherries. Bring the juice to a boil and thicken with cornstarch. Mix with the cherries and let cool. Once cooled, spread over the base. Cut a wafer from the chocolate kisses. Break up the foam mixture with a mixer and mix with the quark. Whip the cream with the cream stiffener and fold into the quark mixture. Spoon this mixture onto the cherries and sprinkle with grated chocolate. This recipe works best with Super Dickmanns; I’ve had problems setting with other chocolate kisses.
