Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 260 g flour
  • 1 pinch of baking powder
  • 90 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), the pulp
  • Sweetener, liquid
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 200 g butter, semi-skimmed
  • 30 g almond(s), ground
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

WW-suitable, 1* per croissant, makes approx. 50 pieces

Sift flour and baking powder into a bowl, make a well in the center, and knead with sugar, vanilla sugar, vanilla seeds, sweetener, salt, egg yolk, semi-skimmed butter, and almonds until smooth. Wrap the dough in cling film and chill for about 30 minutes. Form the dough into pencil-thick rolls, cut into approximately 5 cm long pieces, roll the ends slightly thinner, and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking foil. Bake the vanilla crescents in a preheated oven at 175°C (Gas Mark 2) for about 10 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar after cooling. Add 1 pc. per crescent.
