Almond croissants

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 400 g marzipan – raw mass
  • 70 g sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tsp flour
  • 1 bag(s) almonds, sliced
  • 1 pack of chocolate coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Beat the egg whites until fluffy, then tear the marzipan into small pieces, add the flour and sugar, and knead the whole thing with a dough hook until soft. Now form small croissants (moisten your hands with water so the mixture doesn’t stick to them), making sure the ends aren’t too narrow so they don’t burn later. Roll the croissants in the almonds and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Now put the almond croissants in the preheated oven at approx. 180°C for 8-10 minutes. Once the almond croissants have cooled, dip the ends in melted chocolate coating and let them dry. This recipe makes approx. 10-12 almond croissants.
