Apricot hearts for Christmas

Ingredients for 25 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 200 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g apricot jam

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cream the butter, sugar, and egg until fluffy, then add the flour. Knead with a dough hook until smooth. Let it chill for a good hour. Roll out the dough and cut out hearts. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 175°C for about 10-15 minutes. Heat the apricot jam and strain it through a sieve. Spread the warm jam onto one baked heart and stick it together with a second heart. Decorate the finished cookies as desired.
