Broccoli gnocchi with cheese sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g gnocchi
  • 600 g broccoli, clean, divide into florets
  • 75 g smoked bacon, streaky, diced
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 1 tsp broth, granulated
  • 200 g cream cheese spread
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the gnocchi in plenty of salted water according to the instructions, adding the broccoli for the last 7 minutes (or in a separate pot). Fry the smoked bacon in a pan until crispy, add the milk, granulated stock, and cream cheese, and bring to a boil briefly until a creamy sauce forms. Season with salt and pepper. Drain the gnocchi and broccoli and toss with the sauce or serve separately.
