Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g butter
  • 400 g sugar
  • 1 kg flour
  • 4 m.-sized eggs
  • 2 packets of baking powder
  • 3 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 pinches of clove powder
  • 4 pinches of mace, grated
  • 4 pinches of cardamom powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 8 hours 42 minutes

Combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and spices thoroughly and knead with the remaining ingredients to form a dough. Wrap the dough in foil and let it rest overnight in the refrigerator. The next day, process the dough in a meat grinder fitted with a cookie cutter attachment until you have shortbread cookies. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 180°C for 10-12 minutes on the middle rack.
