Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 200 g butter, cold
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp vinegar (red wine vinegar)
  • 200 g almonds, grated
  • 180 g sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 dl milk
  • 1 egg(s), beaten

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Combine flour, butter, sugar, and vinegar in a bowl. Rub the cold(!) butter into a fine crumb with your fingers and mix everything well to form a dough. Let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Then roll out the dough into a thin rectangle. Mix all the filling ingredients well and spread it on the dough. Carefully roll the dough into a log, cut into approximately 1cm thick slices, and place on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush with the beaten egg and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
