Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g butter (room temperature)
  • 125 g sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 125 g hazelnuts, grated
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 egg yolk (for brushing)

For the dough: Beat butter, sugar, and egg yolk for 10 minutes until fluffy. Add hazelnuts, salt, and flour. Let the dough rest in the cold for 1 hour. Shape: Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1 cm. Cut into finger-length and finger-width sticks and brush with egg yolk. Bake: Bake in the center of an oven preheated to 180°C (gas mark 2) for 20 minutes.
