Tortellini in ajvar sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g tortellini
  • 50 g bacon, diced, smoked
  • 3 tbsp Ajvar, (mild or spicy – according to taste) heaped tbsp
  • 200 g cream cheese, natural
  • 1 ball of mozzarella
  • Herbs of Provence
  • salt and pepper
  • some milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Lightning court

Prepare the tortellini according to the package instructions. Fry the smoked bacon cubes in a small saucepan over medium heat. Reduce the heat and stir in the cream cheese. Blend with a little milk until smooth, add the ajvar, and season with the herbs and spices. Bring to a boil briefly and remove from the heat. Finely dice the mozzarella and add it to the sauce. Melt briefly and serve with the tortellini!
