Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g clarified butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 200 g flour
  • 100 g cranberries, dried

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

for 55 pieces

Cream the clarified butter, sugar, and salt until fluffy, then add the milk and flour and knead everything with a dough hook until smooth. Finely chop the cranberries and knead them into the dough. Shape the dough into 3 cm thick rolls, wrap in cling film, and freeze for about 20 minutes in the freezer. Cut the rolls into 0.5 cm thick slices and bake on a baking tray at 160 °C fan-assisted oven (180 °C electric oven) for 10 minutes. Then let cool. Tip: Make rolls in advance. Freeze them and bake fresh slices as needed. Makes 55 cookies, each with approximately 45 kcal.
