Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 175 g wholemeal spelt flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 50 g honey
- 1 egg(s)
- 75 g butter
- 2 tbsp currant jelly
- 100 g butter
- 100 g honey
- 100 g hazelnuts, ground
- 100 g hazelnuts, chopped
- 2 tsp wholemeal spelt flour
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
For the base, combine the flour and baking powder, add the honey, egg, and butter, and knead into a smooth dough. Roll out the dough on a baking sheet and spread with 2 tablespoons of blackcurrant jelly. For the topping, heat the butter and honey in a saucepan, add the ground and chopped hazelnuts and 2 teaspoons of wholemeal spelt flour, and mix well. Spread the cooled mixture over the dough and bake at 175°C for 25-30 minutes. Let the pastry cool completely, then cut into triangles.
