Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 4 pear(s), sweet, ripe
- some poppy seeds
- 40 g sugar, about
- some nuts and pistachios, chopped
- 50 g butter
- 1 package of puff pastry (frozen)
- Flour for the work surface
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Melt the butter in a round, low-sided dish (26-30 centimeters in diameter) in the oven at approximately 200°C. Add the sugar and caramelize slightly. Remove the dish from the oven, sprinkle with the poppy seeds and chopped nuts and/or pistachios. Arrange the pears, cut into eighths and cored, evenly on top. Stack the puff pastry sheets on top of each other and roll them out on a floured surface so that they overlap the edge of the dish by about one to two centimeters. Then place the puff pastry over the dish and bake the whole thing in the oven at 200°C for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from the oven, let cool briefly, and then turn out onto a large plate. Carefully remove the dish. Enjoy lukewarm, perhaps with some vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
