Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g flour
- 35 g butter
- 1 egg yolk
- 150 ml milk
- 1 packet of dry yeast
- 400 g potatoes
- 250 g apples
- 1 onion(s)
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
- 200 g Gruyère
- 200 g cream
- 1 egg(s)
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
- Caraway seeds
- Butter and flour for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes
Mix yeast with flour. Warm milk with butter. Knead all dough ingredients. Let rise for 30 minutes. Peel and grate potatoes. Quarter, core, and grate apples. Finely slice onion. Mix ingredients and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Roll out dough, place in a buttered 26 cm springform pan, and raise the edges 3 cm. Spread filling over the dough. Place pan in a cold oven and bake at 180°C (convection oven) for about 1 hour. Grate cheese and mix with cream and egg. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. After 30 minutes of baking, pour onto the cake and sprinkle with caraway seeds. Finish baking.
