for anise lovers, makes about 20 pieces

Combine the flour with the sugar, amaranth, baking powder, salt, and anise. Add the cut butter, egg, and honey. Mix from the outside in until crumbly, then knead into a smooth dough. Form the dough into a ball, wrap it in foil, and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Remove the dough from the refrigerator, shape it into a log, and cut into slices about 1.5 cm thick. Place these slices on a greased baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 150-180 degrees Celsius (300-350 degrees Fahrenheit), depending on the type of oven, for about 15-20 minutes (the cookies will harden as they cool).
