delicious, simple recipe from my grandmother

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix with a mixer until a smooth dough forms. If the mixture becomes too stiff, add a little more water. Then form into 5 strands (“sausages”) and place on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 160-180 degrees Celsius (320-350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 20-25 minutes, depending on your oven type. After letting the “sausages” cool briefly, slice them and, if desired, cover one side with chocolate. Tip: Tastes best after a few days!
