Spaghetti with paprika cream sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200g spaghetti
  • 100 ml cream
  • 100 ml vegetable broth or chicken broth
  • 3 tbsp ajvar
  • 50 g Parmesan
  • 2 slices of ham, cooked or Parma ham
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

It’s quick and tastes heavenly!

Dice the bell peppers. Heat the olive oil and sauté the bell peppers. Dice the ham and add it, briefly browning it. Mix the cream with the broth and pour into the pan. Stir in the ajvar, Parmesan, and thyme. Season with salt (Parmesan is already salty!), pepper, and sugar, and simmer until the sauce has a nice, creamy consistency. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti al dente, drain, and add it to the pan with the sauce. Mix everything well and serve.
