Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 can pineapple
  • 2 cups of cream
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 packs of gelatin powder
  • 1 pack of cream stiffener
  • 1 pack of cake glaze
  • ½ lemon(s)
  • 1 cake base
  • Sweets, colorful sugar sprinkles

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 20 minutes

According to grandma’s recipe

Drain the pineapple and chop it into small pieces, reserving the juice. Soak the gelatine in a little pineapple juice (see package instructions) and dissolve it in it over a bain-marie. Mix the pineapple, gelatine, sour cream, and sugar together. Whip the cream with the cream stiffener until stiff and fold in. Season the cream with lemon juice to taste. Place a cake ring around the cake base and spread the cream on the cake base. Refrigerate the cake until it sets. Then cover with glaze and decorate with colorful sugar sprinkles. It’s best to make the cake a day in advance so the cream sets properly!
