Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Dream Jumbles (dreamy jumble cookies) – truly a dreamy treat!

Preheat oven to 190 degrees C, using bottom heat if possible, or top/bottom heat if necessary. In a large bowl, beat the butter with a mixer at medium speed for 30 seconds until smooth. Add the two types of sugar, baking soda, and salt and mix with the mixer. Then add the egg and vanilla extract and mix well with the other ingredients. Add the flour to the butter mixture and mix with the mixer, first at low speed, then at medium speed. Stir in the raisins, chocolate chips, pecans, and almonds into the batter and fold in with a wooden spoon. Use a rounded teaspoon to scoop out dough and place it on an ungreased baking sheet, about 5 cm apart. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the cookies for 8 to 10 minutes; they should be lightly browned around the edges. While the first baking sheet is in the oven, line another baking sheet with the dough mounds. Remove the first baking sheet from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack. Repeat with the second baking sheet. This dough will yield approximately 36 cookies.
