Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 ⅛ kg flour
  • 200 g butter
  • 20 g yeast
  • 750 ml milk
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 20 minutes

Place the flour in a large bowl and gently warm the milk. Dissolve the yeast in a little milk and use it to make a starter dough. Let the starter dough rise for about 2 hours. Dissolve the butter in the remaining milk and add it to the dough. Knead thoroughly until the dough is no longer sticky. Let it rise for about 2 hours. Then form the rolls and let them rise for 15 minutes. Bake at 200°C (400°F) until golden brown (about 20 minutes).
