Tomato soup à la ali

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 tsp butter or margarine
  • 500 ml tomatoes, pureed, (tetrapak)
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Sugar
  • oregano
  • 1 cup of cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

First, melt the margarine or butter (whichever you prefer) slowly in a small saucepan, but don’t let it brown. Then add the passata. Now you can increase the heat a little and bring the soup to a boil, but keep it there; it will sometimes splatter quite a bit. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, nutmeg, and sugar, and let the soup simmer for a few more minutes. Finally, add the cream to finish.
