Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 cucumbers
- ½ garlic clove(s)
- Salt
- Paprika powder, sweet
- 2 tbsp vinegar (wine vinegar)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp water
- ½ tsp sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
with oil and vinegar but without dill
Peel the cucumbers and slice them thinly. Toss with salt and finely crushed garlic and let stand for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the marinade from vinegar, oil, water, sugar, and salt. Gently squeeze the lettuce and toss with the marinade. Serve the salad and sprinkle with paprika. Note: Paprika prevents the annoying burping after eating cucumbers.
