Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 375 g flour
- 30 g yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 60 g margarine
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 kg sliced onion(s)
- 250 g smoked bacon, diced
- 4 eggs
- 250 ml cream
- 150 ml sour cream
- 1 tsp salt
- 300 g cheese, grated
- Pepper, ground
- Parsley and caraway
- 250 ml water
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Combine flour, yeast, sugar, margarine, and 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt with approximately 250 ml of lukewarm water to form a yeast dough. Sauté the onions and smoked bacon in a large pan with a little oil. Whisk the eggs, cream, sour cream, and cheese with 1 teaspoon of salt and ground pepper. Roll out the yeast dough and place it in a greased roasting pan; spread the onion mixture evenly over it, then pour the egg-cream mixture over it. Bake at 175-200°C (top and bottom heat) on the lowest rack for about 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
