K's Chocolate Milk Rolls

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g butter
  • 250 ml milk
  • 20 g yeast
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 75 g sugar
  • 500 g flour
  • 200 g chocolate (dark or milk)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Milk or beaten egg for brushing

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Makes 3-4 large bread sticks, especially suitable for children’s birthdays

Heat the milk with yeast and butter in a saucepan. Combine it with the egg, sugar, and flour in a bowl and knead well until a smooth dough forms. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes. Chop the chocolate and knead it in well. Form into thin loaves, similar to a baguette. Brush with milk or beaten egg and let rise for another 20-30 minutes. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes.
