Swiss sausage salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g meat sausage
  • 50 g cheese (Emmental)
  • 4 gherkins (sweet gherkins)
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • ½ tsp salt
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • 1 shot of cucumber juice, from the jar
  • 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar bianco
  • 1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cut the sausage, cheese, and cucumber into strips, and slice the onion. Place everything in a large enough bowl. Make a dressing from the cucumber juice, balsamic vinegar, canola oil, and seasonings and add it to the bowl. Mix well and let it sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. The quantities are approximate, as I always prepare it “handmade.” My husband loves the salad, and we like to serve it with pretzel sticks or pretzels.
