Baked chicken breast fillets

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • 500 g cheese, grated
  • 2 zucchinis
  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 spring onion(s)
  • some oil (sunflower)
  • some salt and pepper
  • oregano
  • herbs, Italian

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Rinse the chicken breast fillets and pat dry. Thinly slice the zucchini, spring onion, and garlic clove. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the zucchini, onion, and garlic, and season with salt, pepper, oregano, and Italian herbs. Add the chicken breast fillets and sear them evenly. Then place the fillets in a greased baking dish and arrange the vegetables around them. Slice the tomatoes and arrange them over the fillets. Season again and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes. Serve with pasta.
