Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 400 g turkey meat, shredded
- 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 1 tsp curry
- 1 tsp paprika powder, hot
- 1 pinch(s) spice mix (gyros spice)
- 3 m.-sized onion(s)
- 2 tomatoes
- 200 g mushrooms
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 small garlic clove(s)
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
First, mix the turkey strips with the spices in a bowl. Squeeze the garlic clove over the strips and stir well again. Finely slice the onions and quarter the tomatoes, remove the seeds, and then dice them. Clean and quarter the mushrooms as well. Add the oil to a preheated pan and fry the strips until nicely browned on all sides. Remove the meat and fry the mushrooms and onions for about 2 minutes in the same uncleaned pan. Finally, add the meat and tomatoes and heat for 2-3 minutes. Serve with rice, fries, or croquettes. If you like, you can also serve with garlic and herb curd cheese – it tastes really great and is quick to make.
