Delicious quark cake

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 200 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g margarine
  • 1 dashes lemon(s)
  • 250 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 120 g oat flakes, instant
  • 230 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 75 g almond(s), chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Whisk the sugar and eggs until frothy. Combine 250g of low-fat quark with the margarine, a squeeze of lemon juice, and the low-fat quark. Then add the instant oats and flour. Stir well. Finally, stir in the baking powder. If desired, add 75g of chopped almonds or raisins (rolled in flour so they don’t get lost in the cake). Bake at 175°C (350°F) for approximately 50-60 minutes.
