  • 3 tsp almond(s), ground
  • 75 g powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

WW – 60 pieces at 0.5*

Mix 180g flour, pudding powder, and baking powder, sift into a bowl, and knead with sugar, vanilla sugar, egg yolk, honey, bitter almond flavoring, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, margarine, and almonds to form a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and chill for about 30 minutes. Roll out the dough in portions using the remaining flour, cut out moons, and place on a baking sheet lined with baking foil. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven on the middle rack at 180°C (gas mark 2) for about 8-10 minutes, then let cool. For the glaze, mix the icing sugar with lemon juice until smooth, brush over the chocolate moons, and let it set. TIP: 1. The spices will stain the dough heavily when rolled out. 2. Cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg can also be excellently substituted with gingerbread spice.
