Quark roast with mushrooms and millet

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g quark
  • 2 small cans of mushrooms
  • 50 g millet
  • 100 ml water
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 ml milk
  • some parsley
  • some fat for the mold
  • some breadcrumbs for the form

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Cook the millet in twice the amount of water for about 20 minutes. Combine the quark with the eggs, milk, and mushrooms. Add the millet when it’s soft. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and paprika, and add the parsley. Grease a turn-out dish and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Pour the mixture into the dish and bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 45 minutes. Turn out to serve.
