Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 250 g minced meat
- 1 cup rice, parboiled
- 2 cups water
- 2 tsp broth, instant
- 2 large carrots
- 10 g fresh ginger
- pepper
- oregano
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
First, fry the minced meat in olive oil in a pan, breaking it up nicely. Meanwhile, dice the carrots and finely chop the ginger. Add the rice to the pan and pour over the water. Stir in the broth and add the ginger. Sprinkle with the oregano and season with pepper (more or less to taste). Cook over medium heat until creamy. Add the diced carrots to the pan and simmer until the rice is tender.
