Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 cup of rice pudding, approx. 200 – 250 ml content
- 2 cups water
- 1 onion(s), red
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 4 carrots
- 1 stalk(s) Celery
- 1 leek(s), cleaned
- 4 sprigs of parsley
- 1 tbsp oil
- 400 g minced beef
- 75 g diced ham or bacon
- 100 ml red wine, dry
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 400 g tomatoes, chopped from the can
- 200 ml vegetable stock
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- salt and pepper
- 1 pinch(s) cinnamon powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Rinse the rice and add it to salted water. Bring to a boil and simmer gently for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, peel the onion, garlic, carrots, and celery and roughly chop them along with the leek. Chop them in a food processor with the washed parsley. The largest pieces should be about the size of dice. Sauté the vegetables in the oil for about 5 minutes. Then add the minced meat and diced ham and continue to sauté for 10 minutes. Pour in the red wine and simmer for 5 minutes. Add all the remaining ingredients, season to taste, and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season again and serve with the rice.
