Prussia with sugar

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 puff pastry, rectangular, approx. 275 g
  • Sugar, fine
  • Cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 18 minutes; Total time approx. 38 minutes

Sweet and delicious

First, the work surface is thickly sprinkled with sugar. Then the puff pastry is placed on the sugar. After that, the puff pastry is lightly pressed onto the sugar with a rolling pin. The puff pastry should not stretch out. Now the puff pastry is turned over. Then sugar and a little cinnamon are thickly sprinkled on it. Now the sugar and cinnamon are pressed down again with the rolling pin. After that, the puff pastry is rolled from the two long sides into the middle. Now the roll is cut into pieces approximately 12 mm thick. Place these on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake at 200°C with a fan oven for approximately 8 minutes or with top/bottom heat for approximately 10 minutes. Then turn the Prussiens and put them back in the oven for another 6-8 minutes – or 9-10 minutes with top/bottom heat. Now place the finished Prussiens on a plate and let them cool.
