Stock: Honey Cucumber

The perfect stock: honey cucumber recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Freshly diced cucumber
  • 150 ml White wine vinegar
  • 150 ml Water
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1 teaspoon Yellow mustard seeds
  • 2 piece Bay leaves
  • 0,5 teaspoon Salt
  • 75 g Honey liquid
  • 1 branch Fresh dill
  1. Peel the cucumber and onion. If necessary, remove the seeds from the cucumber and cut the cucumber into small pieces. The onion in eighths.
  2. Bring the vinegar, water, mustard seeds, bay leaves, salt, honey and onion rings to a boil. Add the cucumber pieces to this brew and bring to the boil once.
  3. Fill the cucumber pieces into a sterilized glass and pour the stock over them. Put a two dill on top. Seal the jar and let the cucumbers steep for about a week before eating.
