Tomato and Cucumber Salad with Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette

The perfect tomato and cucumber salad with honey balsamic vinaigrette recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Large tomatoes approx. 300 g
  • 1 Snake cucumber approx. 400 g / cleaned approx. 200 g
  • 2 tsp Liquid honey
  • 2 tsp Medium hot mustard
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar *) from Italian (including raspberries, blackberries and blueberries
  • 2 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • 2 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill
  1. Wash tomatoes, remove the stem end (here: with tomato shark!), Quarter and cut into slices / pieces. Peel the cucumber with a peeler, cut off the ends, cut in half lengthways, core / scrape with a small spoon and cut into thin slices with a knife. Carefully mix the tomato slices / pieces with the cucumber slices. Make a vinaigrette from liquid honey (2 teaspoons), medium-hot mustard (2 teaspoons), olive oil (2 tbsp), balsamic vinegar (2 tbsp), coarse sea salt from the mill (2 big pinches) and colored pepper from the mill (2 big pinches) Mix, pour / drizzle over the salad, add the chives (2 tbsp), mix everything together and chill the salad until serving.
