Quick creamed kohlrabi with veal sausage

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 380 g kohlrabi, cut into thin sticks
  • 2 veal sausages
  • 60 g onion(s), finely diced
  • ½ tbsp butter
  • ½ tbsp olive oil
  • 90 ml dry white wine
  • 90 ml cream
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • n. B. Kohlrabi leaves, young, chopped
  • nutmeg powder
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

delicious and light

Heat the butter and oil in a pan. Add the onions and sauté until translucent. Add the kohlrabi sticks and fry briefly. Deglaze with white wine, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for 7 minutes. Add the cream, herbs, and nutmeg and simmer gently for another 7 minutes. Fry the sausages in a non-stick frying pan until lightly browned. Arrange the vegetables on warmed plates, each with a sausage, and serve with baguette, if desired.
