Homemade sandwich cookies

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 packs of butter biscuits, approx. 58 pieces
  • 200 g dark chocolate, e.g. block chocolate
  • 65 g butter
  • 65 g hazelnut nougat cream
  • 65 g almonds, chopped
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • chocolate sprinkles, sugar sprinkles

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 minutes; Total time approx. 47 minutes

simple, quick and very tasty

Chop the chocolate into small pieces and melt it with the butter in the microwave or over a pan of simmering water, stirring frequently. Stir in the hazelnut spread, vanilla sugar, and chopped almonds. Spread 1 tablespoon of the chocolate mixture on each butter cookie, place another cookie on top, and coat with sprinkles, if desired. Chill slightly and enjoy!
