Chocolate Pecan Cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter
  • 150 g brown sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 100 g nuts (pecan)
  • 1 pack of chocolate (chocolate drops)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Cream the softened butter with salt and sugar until fluffy. Stir in the egg. Combine the baking powder and flour, sift, and stir in. Knead in the chocolate chips and coarsely chopped pecans. Cover the dough and let it rest in the refrigerator for half an hour. Using a tablespoon, scoop out about 25 small mounds and place them, spaced apart, on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 12-15 minutes.
