Turkey liver in bay leaf/wine sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g turkey liver
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 150 ml wine, white, dry
  • 250 ml cream
  • 1 tbsp margarine
  • 1 onion(s), cut into rings

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Melt the margarine in a deep pan, add the cleaned liver, and brown over medium heat. Add the bay leaves (tear them slightly) and the onion rings, and sauté briefly. Dust with flour, stir briefly, then deglaze with the wine. Simmer gently, add the cream, season with salt and pepper, simmer a little longer, remove the bay leaves, and season to taste. Mashed potatoes and lettuce go well with this dish.
