Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 1 packet of yeast
  • 250 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 60 g butter
  • 60 g sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp rum
  • 5 eggs (Easter eggs)
  • 1 lemon(s), the peel
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk and add it to the middle of a bowl with flour, sprinkle with a little sugar, and let it rise. Then mix everything together and let it rise again. After it has risen, knead the dough briefly again. Divide the dough, shape it into rolls, braid it, and then assemble it into a wreath (ideally on the prepared baking sheet). Place 5 rolls (cut pieces from paper towel rolls and wrap them in aluminum foil) at equal intervals. Let it rise again and then bake at 170°C for approx. 35-40 minutes. Once cooled, dust with icing sugar and insert the Easter eggs.
