Fettucine with broccoli in tomato cream

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 400 g tagliatelle pasta
  • 400 g broccoli, frozen
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 100 g diced ham
  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), diced
  • 1 garlic clove(s), chopped
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • ¼ liter white wine
  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • 3 tbsp crème fraîche
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Sugar
  • 50 g Parmesan, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, adding the broccoli to the pasta water for the last five minutes. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the ham cubes with the onion and garlic. Stir in the tomato paste, sprinkle with the flour, and sauté. Add the white wine and cream, bring to a boil, and simmer for about five minutes. Stir in the crème fraîche and season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Mix in the pasta and broccoli. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
