Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 root(s) parsley
- 1 carrot(s)
- 1 stalk(s) leek
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 500 ml vegetable stock
- Salt
- pepper
- 100 g whipped cream
- 1 pack of ready-made bread dumpling mix (half and half)
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Roughly dice the onion, parsley root, and carrot. Slice the leek into wide rings. Sauté the vegetables in butter until well browned. Briefly fry the tomato paste. Deglaze with vegetable stock, season with salt, and simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the dumplings in salted water according to the package instructions. Add the cream to the vegetables, puree the sauce, and simmer for another 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve with the dumplings.
