Macaroni with apple and sausage pan

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 ½ tbsp butter
  • 2 sausages, fresh
  • 0.33 bunch parsley
  • 3 onions, in rings
  • 2 apples, peeled and cut into large pieces
  • ⅛ liter meat broth
  • 1 tbsp cream
  • salt and pepper
  • 300 g macaroni

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

First, bring the pasta water to a boil in a large pot, cut the sausages lengthwise, remove the mixture, and place it in a bowl. Mix it with the parsley and then form it into small meatballs. When the water is boiling, prepare the pasta according to the package instructions. Brown the meatballs in a pan with a little butter over medium heat. When they are nicely browned on all sides, remove them from the pan and fry the onions and apples over high heat. This allows the toasted sausage meat to dissolve nicely into the onions and apples. When the apples and onion rings are browned, add the meatballs back in with the meat broth. Simmer for a few minutes. Finally, season everything with a little cream, salt, and pepper. Serve hot with fresh parsley on top.
